J Riley Beet Harvesters (UK) Ltd is well-known as the country’s leading sugar beet harvester specialists. The company is the sole importer of Vervaet products from the Netherlands, which includes self-propelled beet harvesters and slurry applicators marketed to hundreds of highly-valued customers across the length and breadth of the UK. We pride ourselves on our reputation for first-class customer service based around a quality product. A very high percentage of Vervaet spares are held in stock at our base near Norwich, Norfolk.

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for managing the stores team as well as looking after customers and their immediate requirements. Other tasks include stock control using a computerised system, purchasing of stock and assisting with management reports.

As the right applicant, you will have previous experience of parts management in a similar role. An agricultural background and sound understanding of modern agricultural machinery is very much preferred. You will be a first-class communicator and organiser, with excellent time management skills. Knowledge of Ibcos Gold software would also be an advantage. Some degree of flexibility towards working hours may be necessary during the busy September-February period (sugar beet lifting campaign).
